Abdi's careers

I researched psychology and registered nurse.  A psychologists studies the human mind, their research helps us understand behavior, memory and mental health disorders.  The job tasks they do include: researching, counseling, therapy e.t.c.  To become a psychologist, the following degrees are needed, bachelors in psychology, clinical psychology, masters degree and doctoral degree.  there are some high school classes you can take to prepare you for this career.  A psychologist mainly works 35 to 40 hours a week but their hours can vary if there doing private practice.  They have an average salary of $69,280 a year.  Over all the employment outlook is projected to grow 19% from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations. 

Registered nurse is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program.  The job tasks they do are working for a variety of patients, observing and recording patient behavior, consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPA) and Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), treating medical emergencies.  This career choice only needs a BSN degree and Four years in the medical field.  Their work hours are estimated to be everyday in a 24 hour patient care but hours can vary when working in private clinics.  Average salary is $45,880 a year.  the employement outlook is expected to increase by 19% by 2022 which is faster than the national average for all other occupations. This career would be a best fit for me and would take alot of classes in high school to keep me in that path.
